- Alpha Delta Epsilon derives its beginnings from the Alpha Delta fraternity. In 1901 they became the Epsilon chapter of the Alpha Delta fraternity.
- In 1954, Alpha Delta Epsilon broke ties with the Alpha Delta fraternity and has since been known as the local sorority Alpha Delta Epsilon. There are 3 other chapters at other college campuses.
- ADE's original home was located at 28 Wadsworth Street where Newton Lecture Hall now stands.
- ADE takes pride in having a non-hazing pledge program and also prides themselves on doing philanthropies for the Geneseo campus and surrounding communities.
